Finish & Colours

With our controlled etching & polishing processes AAF can produce anodised finishes for both internal and external projects in Matt, Satin or Bright (Gloss) appearances. Brilliant metallic hues including Silver/Greys, Yellow/Golds, Brown/Bronzes and Black are achievable allowing us to produce over 60 finishes for your individuality.

An integral finish

Anodising is an integral finish meaning it is part of the aluminium not an applied coating. This results in superior adhesion and durability as the finish cannot peel or delaminate. The other advantage is that it coats ALL surfaces equally as it is an immersion process.

Durability

Not everything is about thickness of coating. AAF has developed specialised processes that increase the density and hardness of our finish resulting in superior durability against standard/traditional anodising. Our simple symbols show you the property comparisons of each finish.
