Little Hero Apartments

This ground-breaking 8 storey (63 apartment) project was erected in 4 weeks utilising a parallel on and off-site construction program which decreased construction time by more than 6 months compared with a conventional build. Each individual apartment was broken up into one of 7 different modules constructed off-site by Unitised Building. The completed modules were then transported to site and craned into place.

The unitised design allows for several long term benefits, including the ability to design for future disassembly, hence condiderably reducing the embodied energy of the building as elements can be re-used. AAF is very proud to be a part of this special project.
